Meghna's research focus is on perovskite solar cells, where she studies degradation under various combinations of environmental stressors using machine learning. In her free time, she enjoys playing soccer and piano.

Peifen's research interests include functional properties and solid-state physics of a variety of materials in nanoscale. Primarily focus on photonics, plasmonic and optoelectronic devices.

RICHA LAHOTI

4th Year PhD Student - Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering

B.S in Chemical Engineering, University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa (2018)

Richa holds a visiting scholar position at the UC Davis, from the University of Maryland - College Park. Her research focuses on determining fundamental photovoltaic properties of perovskite solar cell materials through state- of-the-art nanoscale characterization techniques.

MARGARET DUNCAN

2nd Year PhD Student - Materials Science & Engineering

B.S. in Physics, University of Texas at Austin (2019)

Margaret joined the Leite group in December of 2020: her research focuses on the synthesis and characterization of materials for photonics, specifically using composition as a knob to tune the optical properties of alloys. In her free time Margaret loves hiking, baking, and spending time with her friends in her weekly D&D game.

David is currently studying machine learning algorithms and exploring ways to implement machine learning-related literature. He assisted Meghna to extract experimental data from perovskite solar cell literature for machine learning implementation. In his free time, he enjoys playing basketball, golfing, and biking.
